Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks LLC, has been selected by Brookfield Renewable Power to supply 126 units of the new IBEX 1000P climb assist system for the 1.5 MW turbines at the Prince wind farm in Ontario.
The 1000P's portable control box, weighing 8.5 pounds, is easy to set up, and its design is life-cycle tested and approved by wind turbine technicians, according to the company.
The system is designed to be installed in any wind turbine tower, the company adds.
