AAER Inc., a manufacturer of wind turbines based in Quebec, has officially opened its production plant in Bromont. The company has also unveiled the second wind turbine it manufactured for Portsmouth, R.I., which will be shipped to the site where it will be installed.
‘Today, we are achieving a milestone in our growth and reaping the rewards of eight years of perseverance and nearly $35 million in investments in Quebec,’ says Dave Gagnon, president and CEO of AAER.
The company expects to pick up the pace throughout 2009 as it consolidates its international reputation with the delivery of additional wind turbines to customers in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
