Broadwind Energy says it will supply 36 locally manufactured towers to Siemens for the expansion of the MidAmerican Energy wind project in Iowa, and has signed an option for an additional 25 towers.
Broadwind will produce the wind towers for Siemens in its Manitowoc, Wis., facility, and the company expects to deliver the towers to Siemens during the second and third quarters of 2012.
