Cicero, Ill.-based Broadwind Energy Inc., a provider of solutions for customers in the energy and infrastructure markets, has announced $15 million worth of new wind tower orders.
Broadwind plans to produce the towers in its Manitowoc, Wis., facility for 2017 delivery.
“We are pleased to be awarded this order for 2017 production,” says Stephanie Kushner, president and CEO of Broadwind. “There is a lot of positive momentum occurring within our towers business as we continue to benefit from the strong wind market dynamics in the U.S.”
