With the financial closing of the 16 MW Camilla Solar Project, Belleair Bluffs, Fla.-based Seminole Financial Services has financed more than 100 MW in renewable energy projects throughout the U.S.
Seminole says it has financed nearly 50 renewable energy projects totaling 78.7 MW of solar and 32.7 MW of wind. The company focuses on transactions between $2 million and $30 million. And with seven projects financed over the past eight weeks totaling 33.6 MW, this year could be the best in its four-year history.
Seminole notes that the Camilla Solar Project, for which it provided construction loan financing, is expected to be placed in service by late fall.
