Borea Construction ULC, a Canadian wind energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor, has acquired wind turbine installation company Eagle West Wind Energy Inc.
According to Borea, Eagle West has been involved in the installation of more than 1.1 GW of wind energy across Canada. As part of the purchase agreement, Borea will continue to develop the Abbotsford, British Columbia, office with the goal of serving western Canada.
Borea Construction, with head offices in Toronto and Quebec City, says it has installed more than 1.3 GW of wind energy in Canada. It is co-owned and directed by leadership teams from construction company Pomerleau Inc. and Blattner Energy.
