Canada-based Boralex Inc. has announced milestones for three of its wind power projects.
Through its Boralex Europe S.A. subsidiary, the company has completed commercial commissioning of the 23 MW Fortel-Bonnieres wind farm in France.
‘Commissioning the Fortel-Bonnieres site brings installed wind power capacity in France to 250 MW and chalks up one more milestone toward our growth objective,’ states Patrick Lemaire, Boralex's president and CEO.
In addition, the company says construction of the 23 MW St-Francois wind farm, also in France, is progressing on schedule. Commissioning is planned for the first quarter of 2015.
Furthermore, in Canada, Boralex says it and partner Cote-de-Beaupre RCM have obtained government approvals to commence work on the 25 MW Cote-de-Beaupre community wind power project. Commissioning of that project is slated for late 2015.
