Miami-based Atlantic Wind & Solar Inc. (AWSL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Centripetal Dynamics Inc. (CDI) to define a framework of cooperation and participation in establishing a CDI wind turbine manufacturing facility in Canada. The facility would produce wind turbines for use in onshore and offshore wind projects across North America.
The signing of the MOU follows the July announcement by AWSL and CDI of their formal agreement to collaborate on the development of hybrid wind/solar projects in Ontario.
CDI is currently involved in the building of wind turbine manufacturing plants in Colorado and Brazil.
