Nina Pierpont, a pediatrician and anti-wind advocate, has published a study of the effects of wind turbine syndrome, a condition that she says can occur when low-frequency noise or vibration from the wind turbines acts on the balance organs of the inner ear.
Pierpont's study includes interviews with 10 families living 1,000 – 4,900 feet away from utility-scale wind turbines.
