Mike Crawley, AIM PowerGen Corp.'s president and CEO, has won the 2008 Hedley Palmer Award for his outstanding contributions to Ontario's electricity generation industry. AIM PowerGen is a wind power developer, owner and operator based in Toronto.
The award was announced by the Association of Power Producers of Ontario (APPrO) – a nonprofit organization that represents generating assets and all aspects of the electricity industry – during its annual Canadian Power Conference and Trade Show in Toronto.
‘This award recognizes the emergence of AIM PowerGen under Mike's leadership as a key player in Ontario's energy sector,’ says David Butters, president of APPrO. ‘The successes of AIM, whether in helping to advance energy policy or in responding to the province's call for increased power supply, have had a big impact in Ontario.’
