Plymouth, Mass.-based Aeronautica Windpower will begin manufacturing mid-scale commercial and industrial (65 kW to 750 kW) wind turbines in the U.S.
Aeronautica Windpower previously marketed Denmark-based Norwin wind turbines.
According to the company, manufacturing in the U.S. will result in shorter shipping times and less cost. The wind turbines are designed for industrial parks, commercial complexes and small neighborhoods.
