Plymouth, Mass.-based Aeronautica Windpower has selected Goss International to produce an electromechanical component for mid-scale wind turbines that Aeronautica markets for commercial, agricultural and other uses.
Goss International will produce the nacelles at its facility in Durham, N.H., using licensed designs for 225 kW and 750 kW turbines from Norwin A/S, a supplier of wind turbines headquartered in Denmark.
Goss will ship the nacelles in the spring of 2010.
