Acorn Factor Inc., a Montchanin, Del.-headquartered holding company specializing in emerging energy ventures, has committed to invest $5 million in EnerTech Capital Partners III LP, a venture capital manager of the alternative energy, energy technology and emerging cleantech fields.
EnerTech Capital has reviewed over 11,000 alternative energy and cleantech business plans since the creation of its first stand-alone fund in 1996, the company says. Acorn's recent capital commitment will be funded over the 10-year life of EnerTech Capital's current fund.
