Bromont, Quebec-based AAER Inc., a wind turbine manufacturer, has broken ground on the future site of a 1.5 MW AAER A1500 wind turbine to be installed at the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, Calif. The turbine is scheduled for delivery at the end of the fourth quarter of this year. ACCO Engineering Services will manage the installation of the turbine in cooperation with the Marine Corps and Southern California Edison.
