3TIER has released a new suite of global wind and solar prospecting tools that can provide immediate access to seasonal variability data, according to the company.
3TIER's wind and solar prospecting tools use a Web-based interface and enable renewable energy developers, financiers and manufacturers to instantly access information about any location worldwide.
The wind and solar prospecting tools are subscription-based products that provide map-based, point-and-click access to monthly mean wind speed, annual mean wind speed and annual mean wind direction. Data is available for 20 meters, 50 meters and 80 meters above ground heights.
