WHW Architects, an architectural firm based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is now powered with 100% renewable energy sourced from wind and hydropower, according to Bullfrog Power.
Through the agreement, Bullfrog Power's Maritimes generators inject renewable electricity onto the regional grid to match the amount of power WHW's office uses. Across Canada, Bullfrog's electricity comes exclusively from wind and hydro facilities that have been certified as low-impact by Environment Canada under its EcoLogo program.
In the Maritime provinces, Bullfrog sources from wind farms and low-impact hydro facilities in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. Bullfrog's goal is to advance the development of wind power throughout the Maritimes.
