Vos Prodect has supplied the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm, located in the North Sea, with cable hang-off systems and joint bend restrictors.
The company’s cable systems are meant to support the project by bolstering secure installation and protection of submarine cables through the site’s operational lifetime, says the company.
In addition to these systems, Vos Prodect supplied joint bend restrictors, aimed at assisting emergency repairs and future maintenance.
Van Oord is managing the overall construction of Sofia, with Hellenic Cables set to provide the project’s submarine cables.
