Austria-based TTTech, a supplier of networking solutions based on time-triggered technology and modular safety platforms, was awarded the WindMade certification label.
To be eligible for the label requires participating companies to obtain at least 25% of electricity from wind power. TTTech obtains 78% of its power demand from wind energy, notes WindMade.
Utilizing technology similar to that in aircraft and performance cars, TTTech delivers Ethernet solutions – designed to improve reliability and productivity of the next generation of wind turbines – to WindMade partner Vestas.
