Vestas has received two more U.S. wind orders totaling 48 MW.
One order calls for 28 MW of the manufacturer’s 4 MW platform. The turbine components qualify for 80% of the federal wind production tax credit (PTC), Vestas notes. The project and customer have not been disclosed.
Separately, another order calls for 20 MW of Vestas’ 2 MW platform. Likewise, these components qualify for 80% of the PTC value. The project and customer have not been disclosed.
On Wednesday, Vestas announced another 80% PTC-qualifying wind order in the U.S.
