Tucson Electric Power Co. (TEP) and its affiliate UNS Electric Inc. (UNSE) are jointly soliciting proposals from parties interested in providing renewable energy and associated credits to TEP and UNSE through power purchase agreements and/or the ownership of generation assets. This request for proposals (RFP) includes a description of the products requested, energy delivery points, energy scheduling and dispatching requirements, and a detailed outline of the bid process, including relevant dates, contact information and proposal submission requirements.
TEP/UNSE invites proposals from all bidders capable of meeting the requirements of this RFP, including wind, solar, geothermal, small hydro, biomass/biogas and other renewable energy developers, electric utilities, independent power producers, wholesale generators and qualifying facilities, including customer-sited renewable generation in single as an individual or in aggregate. In order to be considered, all submitted proposals must conform to the RFP requirements.
