Danish wind turbine service and spare parts supplier Danrun Windservice and Sumitomo Corporation Europe (SCEU) have signed an agreement, under which SCEU will own a 40% minority interest in Danrun Windservice. The management and the chairman of the board will hold the remaining shares.
Danrun Windservice will continue its focus on major service areas, including for Vestas and Siemens wind turbines. According to the companies, the investment will also strengthen Danrun Windservice's capability a supplier of large wind turbine components, such as gearboxes, generators and blades.

"Additionally, more resources will now be allocated to our direct sourcing of spare parts and major components for wind turbines, which will result in improved service for our clients worldwide.’
