Strategic Marine and Prosperous Wind Shipping have delivered the StratCat 27 hybrid-ready vessel to support Taiwan’s Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm.
Owned and operated by Prosperous Wind Shipping, the company says the vessel is designed for technician and cargo transfer, operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms. It added that the fleet is tailored to meet the specific needs of the Taiwan offshore sector.
The vessel is set to commence operations at the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm in April by assisting in turbine generator installation operations at the site, operating round the clock.
