Siemens Gamesa has signed a new contract for the supply of 36 MW in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The company will install 18 of its G97-2.0 MW turbines at the Jelovaca wind farm, representing the second project for Siemens Gamesa in the country, as well as its 10th project in the Western Balkans.

The order came from independent power producer F.L. Wind. The scope of the agreement includes delivery, installation and five-year maintenance of 18 G97-2.0 MW turbines at the project, located in the northern part of the country.

This project will contribute to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s goal of having a larger share of local renewable energy generation, says Siemens Gamesa.

Since its market entry in the Western Balkans seven years ago, Siemens Gamesa company has received orders in Croatia, the Republic of Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the supply of 116 wind turbines with cumulative capacity of more than 285 MW.
