Senvion has commissioned 18 MM100 wind turbines with Martifer Renewables SA, which is developing a 36 MW wind farm about 90 kilometers southeast of Poznan, Poland. Senvion will provide maintenance of the wind farm for 20 years.
The commissioning of the 18 Senvion MM100 turbines was finished in July shortly after the first kilowatt-hour of renewable energy was fed into the public grid in mid-May.
With a hub height of 100 meters and a rated power output of 2 MW, the turbines are the first MM100 turbines installed in Poland. With a swept rotor area of 7,854 square meters, the MM100 enables the capture of more wind energy and is suitable for Poland's low-wind sites.
