RockWave has been awarded a contract from Equinor and Polenergia for the offshore Bałtyk 1 Wind Farm project, located approximately 80 km north of the Polish coast in the Baltic Sea.
The contract scope includes the reprocessing of sparker ultra-high resolution seismic data to create a subsurface image. The new data is expected to play a role in upgrading the project’s engineering ground model and wind turbine generator foundation designs.
