Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners – a global investment manager focused exclusively on lower-carbon and renewable energy infrastructure investment and operational asset management in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia – has announced three new appointments to its Houston-based investment team.

Hank Jones has been appointed to the role of managing director. He joins Quinbrook from Dynegy Inc., where he was executive vice president and chief commercial officer, responsible for the commercial optimization of 26 GW of power generation assets. He also managed the fundamental market analysis team at Dynegy, responsible for all wholesale market-facing activities. Prior to Dynegy, Jones was head of North American power and gas sales, trading, and origination at Deutsche Bank and was formerly the chief operating officer and head of trading for EDF Trading North America.

William Blake joins Quinbrook as vice president in the Houston office. Prior to Quinbrook, Blake was an associate at Denham Capital in London, where he was responsible for financial modeling, execution and monitoring of international power investments. He was formerly an analyst in the Global Energy & Power Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.

Dennis Mou joins Quinbrook as associate from EDP Renewables, where he spent two years undertaking the financial analysis and evaluation of EDP’s U.S. wind and solar projects. Prior to EDP, Mou collaborated with Rice University in Houston to develop online courses on business statistics and analytics.

“The appointment of Hank, William and Dennis is an important step in the continued build-out of our U.S. investment team,” comments David Scaysbrook, co-founder and managing partner of Quinbrook. “This team of industry professionals has the diversity of skills we need to successfully pursue and execute the opportunities emerging from the accelerating energy transition.”
