Albuquerque, N.M.-based utility PNM, a subsidiary of PNM Resources, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for renewable energy projects, seeking multiple proposals for wind, solar, geothermal and bio-fuel.
PNM is seeking renewable energy sources that can be available beginning in 2009 and no later than 2011. Depending on complexity, it could take between six months and two years to develop a renewable energy facility, according to PNM.
