Mpower Energy, a New York-based company that helps homes and businesses switch to renewable energy, is opening a new office in Chicago.
Chicago recently announced a goal to transition to 100% clean energy by 2035. Mpower Energy says it is committed to helping the city reach its goal long before that.
“We are so excited to be able to bring clean energy to the people of Illinois,” comments Lavie Popack, CEO of Mpower Energy. “So many consumers and businesses in Chicago have been asking us to switch them to green energy, and now we can help them make the switch.”
The new Mpower Energy office will be located close to downtown Chicago. Operations are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter.
“Our mission is to educate consumers about how they can make a difference on the environment by switching to clean energy,” explains Popack.
