Masdar has signed an agreement with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Bapco Energies to jointly explore the development of and investment in 2 GW of wind projects in the kingdom.
The agreement for nearshore and offshore wind farms is the company’s first in the kingdom.

Other regional Masdar renewable projects include the 400 MW Dumat Al Jandal wind farm in Saudi Arabia.
