U.S. solar and wind developer Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE), a portfolio company of I Squared Capital, has announced the addition of Vishal Kapadia as senior vice president of finance and corporate development.

Kapadia will spearhead all finance functions for LCE’s renewable energy portfolio. Based in Chicago and Austin, Texas, LCE has developed over 2 GW of renewable power projects in California, New Jersey and Texas since 2011.

Previously, Kapadia was with Morgan Stanley, where he led the firm’s principal finance activities in the renewable energy space. Kapadia’s specific focus was on providing debt and tax equity financing for wind and solar projects, as well as providing active board-level management of the firm’s renewable energy operating platforms.

“Lincoln Clean Energy has established itself as one of the premier developers of renewable energy projects in the United States, and I’m honored to join the company at an exciting time in its history,” says Kapadia. “I look forward to growing with this ambitious team and contributing to the company’s positive momentum.”
