Applications are open for companies based in Scotland to join the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult’s Launch Academy program.
Launch Academy, established in 2020, is an accelerator program designed to support the commercialization of new technologies that could enhance the U.K.’s offshore wind supply chain.
The inaugural seven-month Launch Academy Scotland program expects to provide 10 early-stage businesses with technology development and business growth support.
“Our Launch Academy was established in 2020 to accelerate early stage disruptive innovations which can address the challenges facing the offshore renewables sector,” says ORE Catapult’s Dr. Stephen Wyatt.

Launch Academy Scotland will mentor ten promising companies, providing them with technical and business growth support, as well as industry insights and market connectivity, positioning them to thrive in the U.K. offshore wind supply chain.”
Applications can be submitted until August 16.
