Iberdrola Renewables, whose North American headquarters are located in Portland, Ore., is issuing a reverse request for proposals (RFP) for the output associated with three wind farms being developed by the company in Illinois, Missouri and North Dakota.
All parties selected for further negotiations for power purchase agreements will be contacted to negotiate contract specifics in early July.
Iberdrola Renewables is accepting bids for the purchase of energy and/or renewable energy credits and capacity, as applicable for the following three projects:
– Farmers City Wind in Missouri, anticipated to be 144 MW,
– Streator Cayuga Ridge South in northern Illinois, anticipated to be 300 MW, and
– Rugby Wind in North Dakota, anticipated to be 149 MW.
Deadline: June 26.
