Equinor has chosen Goodtech to provide SCADA and control room solutions for Empire Wind 1’s operations center.
The project, a bottom-fixed offshore wind farm located on the outer continental shelf offshore New York, is set to comprise 147 wind turbines and expected to generate 816 MW.
Goodtech’s scope of work for the project includes the delivery of a comprehensive SCADA system for monitoring and controlling the wind farm.
The project will commence this month and is expected to be completed in 2026.
