Nordex SE has received a new order from customer Sameole to provide wind turbines for the Ondefontaine wind farm, located in France.
Nordex will deliver and install four Gamma N100/2500 turbines and service the wind farm under a 10-year maintenance contract.
Ondefontaine is situated near the Basse-Normandie region, an area with a moderate amount of forest cover. Nordex says its N100/2500 turbine is suited for the IEC-2 site.
Nordex started construction work on the project in June. Commissioning is expected in May 2016. The turbine maker says it has supplied 28% of all new wind installations that have been installed in France this year.
