The Formosa 6 Offshore Wind Project, led by Synera Renewable Energy (SRE), has been awarded 800 MW of development capacity by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs in the second round of auctions for Phase 3 Zonal Development of Offshore Wind.
The 57-turbine project is slated to be situated 35 kilometers off the coast of Xianxi Township, Changhua County, and span 84 square kilometers.
