Faccin SRL Italy, a manufacturer of heavy-duty bending rolls, will provide plate-rolling machines for the new Vestas wind tower production facility in Colorado.
This plant will be dedicated to the production of towers as Vestas continues to improve its supply capabilities in the North American market, Faccin says.
When the Vestas systems are installed, Faccin will have nearly 30 dedicated machines in wind tower production in North America.
