enXco Service Corp. (eSC), an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, says it has signed a multiyear agreement with MidAmerican Energy Co. to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 477 MW of wind energy capacity.
eSC explains that, at the conclusion of a competitive tender process, it was chosen by MidAmerican Energy to provide the services for four wind projects located in Iowa. The services include project oversight and reporting, as well as ongoing remote monitoring and fault resets from its operations control center in Minnesota.
The following four wind projects, which use GE 1.5-MW SLE wind turbines, are included in the agreement: the Carroll Wind Farm (150 MW), the Charles City Wind Farm (75 MW), the Victory Wind Farm (99 MW) and the Walnut Wind Farm (153 MW).
