Charlotte, N.C.-based Duke Energy Indiana has issued a request for proposals (RFP) seeking bids for power generated from renewable energy sources, including sun, wind, water, organic matter and other sources.
The company is seeking up to 200 MW by 2011. Duke Energy is interested in talking with potential suppliers about purchased power agreements, purchasing a generating facility or purchased power agreements with the option to buy the facility.
Deadline: Jan. 15, 2008.
