Offshore wind power player DONG Energy has announced it will elect Thomas Thune Andersen as its new chairman of the board of directors. Because Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE) and DONG Energy have a wind energy partnership, he must first resign from SSE's board in July.
Andersen has many years of experience in the energy sector and has seats on the boards of a number of international companies dealing in energy, logistics and distribution. He is also currently chairman of Lloyd's Register Group and deputy chairman of VKR Holding A/S.
