On May 1, damage was sustained to a single blade on an installed turbine at the Dogger Bank A offshore wind farm.
In line with safety procedures, the company says, the surrounding marine area was restricted and relevant authorities notified. No one was injured or in the vicinity at the time the damage was sustained.
The company adds it is working with the turbine manufacturer, GE Vernova, which initiated an investigation into the incident.
In the interim, turbine installation has resumed.
