The city is soliciting bids for solar and/or solar-plus-storage but will also consider bids for wind power. In issuing the RFP, Dover says it wants to reduce market exposure and its carbon footprint, increase self-reliance, and exceed sustainability goals.
The notice of intent to bid is 4:00 p.m. on April 15. Respondents are expected to submit an intent to bid form, participate in a pre-bid conference and submit their proposal in accordance with RFP guidelines.
The Energy Authority (TEA) has been chosen to facilitate the RFP process. Interested respondents can gain access to the RFP and associated documents by sending an email to DoverRFP@teainc.org.
