Chubu Electric Power is set to participate in the offshore Hollandse Kust West Site VI wind power project, located approximately 53 kilometers off the northwest coast of the Netherlands.
The project is being developed by Shell and Eneco.
Chubu has entered into an agreement with Eneco to obtain 30% of equity shares of Ecowende, the project’s operating company.
In 2022, the consortium between Shell and Eneco acquired the concession right to operate the project through public tender.
