The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) released a request for proposals (RFP) for Round 3 of Project 150, an initiative promoting the development and deployment of Class I renewable energy resources, which utilize technologies such as wind, solar, fuel cells, hydro, wave power and biomass.
Electric distribution companies will enter into power purchase agreements with generators of Class I renewable energy for no less than a 10-year period. Pricing under these contracts will include a premium of up to $0.055 per kWh.
