The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) says it will kick off its 27th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Vancouver, to be held Oct. 3 to Oct. 6, by unveiling its long-term plan for the strategic development of wind energy in British Columbia.
CanWEA's ‘WindVision2025: A Strategy for British Columbia’ identifies the opportunity for growth in the province's wind energy marketplace, which is attributable to its plentiful wind resource and the province's accelerating demand for clean electricity, according to the association.
CanWEA says WindVision2025 outlines the economic, social and environmental benefits that will be realized with the growth of wind energy.
