Business Network for Offshore Wind Postpones IPF

Responding cautiously to the ongoing COVID-19/coronavirus situation, the Business Network for Offshore Wind has postponed its annual International Partnering Forum (IPF) event, from April 21-24 to August 18-21 in Providence, R.I.

However, noting that “IPF contains time-sensitive content you may need to plan your business,” the network is hosting “IPF Virtual” from April 21-22. This online program will be available to all registered attendees on those two days, as well as posted to a password-protected IPF web page. The schedule is available here.

The live event, “IPF Together,” will take place August 18-21 in Providence and deliver additional elements of the IPF program, including plenaries; workshops; the trade show exhibit hall; WindMatch and other networking opportunities; the CareerMatch job fair; and tours. The plenaries and workshops will also be recorded and posted to the password-protected IPF webpage following the conference.

Attendees’ initial registration will be transferred to the new dates. If you are not interested in attending the Virtual IPF and are unable to attend the IPF in August, the network will provide a refund of the registration amount minus a 10% administrative charge, if cancelled by April 7.

If you booked a room at the Omni Hotel, your full reservation will be automatically cancelled by the hotel. The network cannot rebook rooms on attendees’ behalf, so attendees are encouraged you to rebook reservations for August 18-21 as soon as possible.
