AWS Truepower, a provider of renewable energy consulting and information services, has purchased the assets of Windographer from Mistaya Engineering Inc. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Windographer software analyzes, visualizes and validates wind resource data from meteorological towers and remote sensing systems, and AWS Truepower says the acquisition adds to the company's suite of wind analysis and development tools.
Tom Lambert, previously CEO of Mistaya and chief architect of Windographer, will lead the Windographer team from AWS Truepower Canada, a new subsidiary based in Alberta.
