Danish company Avanti Wind Systems is offering a training program that covers all safety aspects for the technicians who work in wind turbine towers. The courses comprise theoretic and practical training. The service personnel learn the techniques that are necessary when climbing up and down the towers.
In addition, there is instruction and exercises to learn how to rescue an injured person from a tower, as well as evacuation of all personnel in the tower – for instance, in the case of a fire.
Courses will be taught in English, Spanish, German, Chinese and Danish.
