Aspiravi Offshore, Parkwind and Sumitomo Corp. have reached an agreement on share ownership and cooperation within the Northwind offshore wind farm, with Aspiravi acquiring 70% and all of Parkwind’s shares in the project.
Northwind is located in the Belgian North Sea on the Lodewijk Bank, 37 km from the coast. It consists of 72 wind turbines, has an installed capacity of 216 MW and has been operational since 2014.
Sumitomo retains the remaining 30% in the project.
