Next week, the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) and Hannover Fairs Canada are hosting speakers from the wind industry, government and utilities at CanWEA’s 35th Annual Conference and Exhibition.
Canada’s largest wind energy conference attracts an audience of approximately 1,200, says CanWEA. In addition, more than 100 companies will showcase their technologies at the trade show.
The event will take place Oct. 8-10 at the BMO Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Speakers include Dustin Duncan, Saskatchewan’s minister of environment; William Nelson, power analyst for Bloomberg LP; and CanWEA’s president, Robert Hornung. Plenary sessions will discuss wind energy and solar energy hybrid projects, new revenue streams and the global transition to clean technology, Indigenous participation, and more.
