Alliant Energy’s Wisconsin utility, Wisconsin Power and Light Co., has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to add 200 MW to its wind generation portfolio.
Qualifying structures include asset sales, develop-transfers or build-transfers, and power purchase agreements.
Resources being considered include existing wind, new wind and/or repowered wind, all with a nameplate capacity of at least 25 MW. In addition, proposals for new wind, including repowered wind, should demonstrate qualification for the production tax credit, says Alliant Energy.
Interested parties must review and sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement, accessible through Alliant Energy’s website. All bids must be received by 5 p.m. CST on Friday, July 21, the company says.
